WITNESS
Pokhara, Nepal · Powai, Mumbai India · Mumbai, India
In the quiet dust of Pokhara and Mumbai, these eyes stayed open against the day. Nothing asked to be found.
A single whisker catches what little sun reaches the stone. I stood quietly while the light found only the edge of a jaw, leaving the rest to the deep shade of an open door and the grey pavement where the afternoon had already grown cold.
Nothing asked to be noticed. The air stayed still, holding the small weight of a breath and the quiet focus of eyes that did not blink against the dusk.
Photographs
- GAZE — Quiet Presence at the Timber Door
The blue collar rests loosely on the fur. Shadows hold the small head in place while the morning stays outside the sill. No sound comes from the dark behind the timber. Only the wide eyes remain fixed.

- VIGILANCE — Silent Watcher in Low Light
Green eyes held still against the grey pavement while the afternoon gave up its warmth. One ear was notched like an old ledger. The shadows lengthened across the white fur of the chin and nothing moved.

- CLAMOR — The Unfiltered Call of the Feral
The throat opened wide against the afternoon heat in Powai. Every white whisker trembled outward like dry grass caught in a gale. Four small lower teeth bared themselves while the pink tongue curled back inside the dark cavity. Nothing asked for an answer.

- SHADOW — Ambient Gaze from the Timber Frame
Yellow eyes stayed fixed beneath the dark timber frame. The evening light barely reached the grey fur tucked into the pavement. Nothing moved except the small pulse in the throat.
